I have been away for a few days and have not been able to check the Forum posts.

Many thanks for your comments. They are helpful. I have learned to live with the noise, as it does not appear to be getting worse (or better!) and it does not spoil the pleasure of my riding. I will take the engine apart in the future and check the condition of the parts, but for the time being I will simply ride the bike!

By the way, can I contact Karl Lotze through the Forum?
